BIM Policy Statement

Integrated Design is committed to delivering reliable project information models and data to optimize the delivery of design and construction projects globally for clientele. We will carefully review each project and organization’s BIM requirements to provide a comprehensive set of BIM solutions and BIM deliverables professionally in accordance with international, regional, local, client, and project standards. This commitment ensures our professional services are rendered with collaboration at the core of our digital practice supporting the Integrated Design mission to:

-       Provide Tangible Business Value with BIM

-       Increase Certainty and Confidence with BIM

-       Enhance Stakeholder Engagement with BIM

-       Create a Better Construction Experience with BIM

Training in BIM procedures and day to day support is provided by our in-house team of BIM Managers and Technical Subject Matter Experts who organize workshops on procedures, skills, and particular topics. Each new staff member is required to be proficient in Revit and Navisworks, where our civil team is required to be proficient in Civil 3D and Navisworks. Additionally, we maintain a skills and experience register to facilitate the assembly of project teams with the appropriate level of BIM modelling, coordination, and management skills.

Integrated Design deploys a variety of software to carry out the production of models, simulations, analysis, collaboration, and communication, including:

  • Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max for model authoring

  • Revizto, BIM Track, and Autodesk Construction Cloud for design collaboration and coordination

  • Microsoft Office and Teams for documents and communication.

Integrated Design encourages other organizations to adopt and practice international standards and procedures to improve the collaboration and exchange of information while working on projects, even when the project requirements do not explicitly define the use of ISO-19650 suite of documents.
